Midwinter ALA in Chicago

Well, I was able to go up to the Midwinter ALA conference in Chicago. However, I had to cut my trip short because of a huge snowstorm that pummeled Chicago starting Saturday night. Supposedly, it was the 5th largest snowstorm in the history of Chicago! Therefore, I just got a very quick taste of the conference. I was able to go to a resume review service, attend several lectures and see many other fellow GSLIS students at the conference. One of the most interesting sessions that I attended was called Women in Geekdom. It was about women and programing and STEM subjects in libraries.

I am hoping to attend more library conferences in the near future!
